Prior to my translator's qualifications, I obtained a baccalaureate in social and medical science. I have worked with the NHS and several private companies such as Biopharma on delivering accurate, confidential and timely translations of patients records or clinical reports.

Budget versus quality

Hospitals and medical providers are often bound by contracts with translation agencies who will look to squeeze big margins out of tiny budgets, resulting in rushed jobs done by underqualified linguists. If you can't talk to me directly, ask your translation agency to contact me and we'll try and come to a compromise.
